My success was made possible by my family, excellent nursing program of Far Eastern University Institute of Nursing, all the mentors I met along the way and Our Heavenly Father above.
The FEU-IN nursing education has prepared me well in this rewarding career. My journey started in Home Health Case Management followed by 18 years of Medical/Surgical Oncology Nursing and now in Organ Transplantation since 2015.
The road to this better life was not always straight with clear road signs and green lights but full of road blocks and twist and turns.
One thing I'm sure is certain. Success in life is NOT all about self greatness and self satisfaction. Making others life better and easier is what keeps me grounded and content in life.
Being a nurse is gratifying in a lot of ways but being a leader and a mentor is even better.
There is no greater joy than spending our valuable time with family and friends, work,, faith, community as well as organizations like Philippine Nursing Association of America, Lions Club and FEUNAFInc.USA to make a difference.
I am honored and humbled to serve as your 16th FEUNAFIncUSA President. I hope to continue the works of our founders to unify the FEU-IN alumni in the United States of America and abroad.
With the 2023-2025 Executive Council engagement, Advisory Council mentorship and your support, we shall continue to provide opportunities for educational growth and professional development for our alumni members in order to move forward to even greater heights of success.
I am looking forward to your engagement in our alumni organization and seeing you at the Grand Alumni Reunion in Chicago.
Respectfully,
Emily Danuco, RN, BSN
16th FEUNAFIncUSA President
